The Survey on Distributive Trade was conducted to provide a reliable database of leading economic indicators as well as performance indicators of the trade sector those are absolutely necessary to the national accounts compilers for the compilation of quality estimate of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The survey produced a wide range of data and information which will, to a great extent, improve the knowledge and understanding of the present situation of the trade sector and its contribution to the nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
